Warranty & Guarantee
Short version: if something I worked on isn't right, I come back and fix it. No trip fee, no argument, in any zone.

Labor warranty — 90 days
Every hour of labor I bill is warranted for 90 days from the date of service. If the work I performed fails, loosens, comes out of adjustment, or simply doesn’t do what I said it would, I return and correct it at no charge — including the trip, in any zone, even Zone 3.
This is not a “satisfaction guaranteed” slogan. It’s a specific number with a specific scope, and you can hold me to it by calling (949) 891-5278.
What’s covered
- Adjustments that drift or fail — brakes, shifting, bearing preload, spoke tension
- Parts I installed that were installed incorrectly
- Electrical repairs I performed that fail again in the same way
- Anything I diagnosed wrong. If I said it was the controller and it was the battery, that’s on me and the diagnostic fee comes back.
- Torque specs I set that turn out to be wrong
What isn’t covered
- Normal wear — pads, chains, tires, cables and brake fluid are consumables and they wear out on their own schedule
- New damage from a crash, a drop, or riding conditions after the repair
- A different problem on a different part of the bike that I didn’t work on
- Parts you supplied yourself. I’ll still warranty my labor installing them — but if the part is defective, that’s between you and where you bought it.
- Battery capacity loss over time. Lithium packs degrade with use; that isn’t a defect.
- Work performed by someone else after my visit
Parts warranty
Parts carry whatever warranty the manufacturer provides — typically 30 days to two years depending on the component. I keep the records and I’ll handle the claim paperwork with the brand on your behalf rather than handing you a phone number.
Diagnostic fees
The $99 e-system diagnostic and the $59 battery health test are both waived in full if you have me perform the repair on the same visit. If a diagnosis turns out to be wrong, the fee is refunded whether or not you proceed.
Quotes and approvals
You get a price before I start. If I find something you didn’t call about, I stop and call you with the finding and the cost before touching it — including the option to decline and have me do only what you originally asked for. Nothing is ever added to a bill without a conversation first.
When I’ll tell you not to fix it
Some repairs cost more than the bike is worth, and some bikes are genuinely past it. I’d rather lose the job and keep you as a customer than take money for work I’d argue against. If that’s the situation, I’ll say so plainly and tell you what I’d do instead.
Making a claim
Call or text (949) 891-5278 and tell me what’s happening. There’s no form and no process — it’s one person and I remember your bike.
