What to know about e-bikes in Mission Viejo
Mission Viejo is Zone 2: a $35 trip fee, credited in full toward any service over $150.
It splits into two kinds of rider. In the active-adult communities such as Casta del Sol and Palmia, e-bikes are everyday transportation — ridden often, over short distances, mostly step-through Class 1 and 2 bikes. What matters there is reliability: brakes that always work, tires that hold air, and someone who explains what's going on without jargon. Scheduled tune-ups suit that kind of riding, and it's what the Ride Ready membership was built for.
Commuters and weekend riders on the parkways put different wear on a bike: more miles, more speed, and chains and pads that go faster than the calendar suggests.
For an active-adult community, an on-site service day works well — one setup, a dozen bikes, and everyone pays the volume rate instead of a trip fee each.

FAQ
Questions from Mission Viejo
Is there a trip fee for mobile e-bike repair in Mission Viejo?
Mission Viejo is in Zone 2. The trip fee is $35, and it is credited in full toward any service over $150, so most repairs end up with no trip charge at all. Three or more bikes at one address qualify for the per-bike rate.
Which Mission Viejo ZIP codes do you cover?
92691 and 92692, including Casta del Sol, Palmia and Aegean Hills. The typical drive from San Clemente is 22 to 35 minutes.
Is there a warranty on the work?
90 days on all labor. If something I worked on isn't right afterward, I come back and fix it — no trip fee, no argument, in any zone. Parts carry whatever warranty the manufacturer provides and I'll handle the claim paperwork with the brand for you.
What can't you do at my house?
Three things go to the bench rather than the driveway: cell-level battery pack repair (opening a lithium pack in a customer's garage isn't something a careful technician does), full wheel rebuilds and rim replacement, and internal motor rebuilds that need a press. For all three I pick the part or the bike up and bring it back, usually within two to four days. Everything else — including motor removal and reinstall, controller and display replacement, harness repair, brake bleeds, and full tune-ups — happens where your bike is.
Do you need power or water at my house?
No. The van carries its own power, lighting, compressed air, and water. All I need is a flat spot roughly the size of a parking space, within reason of where the bike is. Driveway, street, garage, courtyard, parking lot, or a turnout on a Laguna hillside all work fine.
